Newly elected lawmakers take oath of office

Kathmandu:Newly elected members of the House of Representatives have taken the oath of office and secrecy.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Parliament’s temporary building in Singha Durbar. The oath was administered by the senior-most member Arjun Narsingh KC.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, 63 lawmakers took the oath in their mother tongues other than Nepali.

Lawmakers arrived at Singha Durbar in their respective traditional attire to participate in the ceremony.
